![]() I'll have to sell it and get another brand (because logically all steelseries headphones are affected since it's the common program that causes the problem)įor information, I have had this headset for 4 months, I wanted to see if an update would correct the problem, it is still not the case. When I bought my arctis 9X I was looking at the A50’s and probably would have bought them if they had Bluetooth. It’s comfortable and lightweight but you can see a lot of complaints about the plastic at the hinges cracking. The headset works without it (hence the score of 4 and not 0), but it is deprived of its functionality. If you’re looking to spend money and get a top notch headset the arctic 9 is great. It's a handicap because the software hides the EQ and the management of the spatialization of the sound. As soon as it is uninstalled, everything works fine again. As soon as it's installed, I can't get any sound on Discord or Youtube (whose videos start lagging in slide show mode). Not because its ergonomics are bad, no, but because it makes the headset unusable on my PC (Ryzen 7 5800X + 32GB of ram). ![]() On the other hand, the software that comes with it (SteelSeries Engine) is a disaster. The headset itself is quite good, comfortable, good sound, good autonomy, correct microphone.
